**A Motherf--king Prologue**
I was privileged and honored to be the guest on episode 94 of the Winning Hand podcast. I want to extend my sincere thanks to Boomguy and LT for having me, and my gratitude to the community of fans of the podcast and The People's Server (tm) for embracing me and my shenanigans. I feel like adults often don't have groups and outlets as completely and utterly positive and welcoming as the Marvel Champions community has been to me and many others.
Enough with that happy horses--t, Let's talk about my 2nd favorite hero in the game, Nick Fury, who is uniquely personified by a national treasure, Mace Windu himself, Samuel L. Jackson
"S&!t, motherf--ker, I am harm's way!" Samuel L. Jackson, *The Hitman's Bodyguard*
This deck feels like that. Complete control of minion-heavy scenarios with very low downside, and Nick Fury's ever present ability to be a slippery motherf--ker will allow you to be your team's source of damage in medium-hard to hard scenarios!
A Word on Pre-Game Conversations
I spoke about this on the podcast, and let me be clear here, I am no hypocrite. I am fully aware that some of the decks I pilot have a bit (read: OK, a LOT) of main character syndrome. As the game evolves and different archetypes rise and fall from prominence, having meaningful pregame conversations before multiplayer games becomes a more and more important piece of the experience in this game. Playing this deck with, for instance, a Tigra at the table (who wants to have minions alive), could provide a less-than-stellar experience for at least one of the players at the table (that person might be you). This deck can easily "take up all the air in the room" as it were, especially with heroes that want to handle/have their own minions. Being careful to be intentional about doing your part to make sure that everyone has a good experience not only enhances the game, but helps cultivate this amazing and growing community. Now, back to your regularly scheduled censored cursing.
"Check out the big brain on Brett! That's Right! You're a smart motherf--ker..." -Samuel L. Jackson, *Pulp Fiction*
This deck's play pattern is fun, thematic, and a blast to play -- you, too, can feel big-brained, just like Brett. Priority 1 is setting ourselves up for success with Fury's Watch, Fury's Flying Car, and Honed Technique. While setting up, Nick is able to handle his own business quite well, with incidental thwarting powering up his suit, along with being able to push damage and take out minions and potential threats also powered by the suit. We want to wrangle minions, utilizing cards like Angela, Spoiling for a Fight and Target Spotter. This frees up your teammates from things like guard and patrol, and if you're in Stealth, forces minions to scheme. This can be advantageous, as lots of minions have 0 or 1 scheme, and this can buy you precious amounts of time to set-up, so long as you can remain in stealth. Once you're set, up, you can clear the board with Dive Bomb, using No Quarter to set yourself up with resources. After you clear the board, you can flip down, or use one of Nick's kit cards to flip back into stealth.
A quick note on No Quarter: Make sure you're safe with either a kit card or a flip down to return to stealth before using No Quarter, as the only cards you'll be adding to your hand are aggression cards.
"You can't kill me, motherf--ker!" -Samuel L. Jackson, The Long Kiss Goodnight
One of Nick Fury's biggest strengths is his slipperiness. He can get in, do some damage (or in this case, a bunch of damage, and get back into stealth one way or another to avoid taking any heat, whether it's flipping down, or using one of his kit cards! Into the Fray is added to supplement his already strong thwarting, easing the extra pressure from bringing extra schemes! Tee a minion up with your basic with Marked attached, and Into the Fray it for a big thwart and big damage at the same time!
Overall, you want to have Marked attached to as many minions as possible when you play a Dive Bomb, letting all that damage spill over to do MASSIVE villain damage, so you can embody this quote...
"I'm a mushroom cloud layin' motherf--ker, motherf--ker! I'm Superfly TNT! I'm the Guns of the Navarone!" -Samuel L. Jackson, *Pulp Fiction*
A few final notes:
-Target Spotter is only for multiplayer and useless in solo. Cut it and do not replace for solo play.
-Despite what I said on the podcast, a lack of Energy in this deck is intentional, we include extra wilds to make sure we're hitting requirements/kickers on Honed Technique and No Quarter.
-You could easily include Evaluate Threat and include Avengers Mansion, Helicarrier, or Quincarrier in this deck. I feel it will be a popular choice at many tables, and you can use the pregame conversation to see who, if anyone, has it, and throw in one of those supports.
Now go Superfly TNT, and lay some motherf--king mushroom clouds of your own!

Apr 14, 2026This write up is fantastic and the deck looks awesome. Great stuff! |
Apr 14, 2026Great deck I made a similar deck based on maximizing the damage from Dive Bomb for a total of 32 damage in one turn to the villain alone. |
Great write up! I love the advice for multiple formats and pre game conversation. Also. That’s one bad mother… shut your mouth. I’m just talking bout Nick!
