Hi Friends, this is the first deck I ever built myself and published so please keep that in mind!
I got this inspiration from Andyr's DEI Kicks ass deck for Deadpool, after having SO much fun playing with it and discovering the incredibly fun Strength In Diversity.
My first idea was, "OMG with Ms. Marvel's power to return events to your hand, and her rare trait of Champion and Inhuman, this build will be amazing for her!"
It took me a few hours to remember that her powers only apply to attack, defense, and thwart events :(.
Not discouraged I decided to think of other heroes this build would be good for. I thought of Rogue (too complex for my feeble mind), and a few others as well but decided to settle on Miles Morales, Web Warrior and Champion!
Miles is also good for this build with his endless stunning and confusing. Can easily by turns for you without needing to defend or worry too much about threat.
Most of the events, supports, upgrades and resources are borrowed from Andyr's deck but I picked some of the allies I found most interesting.
There are NO traits that are duplicated here, so every ally you bring out will have a unique trait.
The Allies:
Atlas Bear- Also a good way to try to get Strength in Diversity in your hand.
Beast - A good way to get a resource card, especially Band Together back in your hand so you can play a more expensive ally.
Fantomex - Expensive but my main target for Call for Backup as it brings in E.V.A which is extremely useful for removing threat or pinging off toughs each turn, remember we don't really want to Allies too take too much consequential damage or chump block here.
Hugin & Munin - This card has three traits and is cheap to put out.
Kaluu - Another cheap card that has the potential to pull Strength in Diversity out.
Mockingbird - Just a solid ally I love.
Namora - An ally that can have potentially 7 hp with a 2 attack and 2 thwart that can cause some damage.
Strategy:
Pretty simple. Bring out Allies. Do spiderman things. Protect your allies from dying. And use their diversity!!!
I hope someone will enjoy this deck. Thanks Andyr for giving me the inspiration and providing me such a fun original deck to play with!
