I played my first true multiplayer game at an FLGS recently and tangibly felt how solo-focused my understanding of the game is. With 4 players we faced Unus without a true Justice player. The consistent pressure of Gene Pool is real. One guy graciously adapted his Hulkling build on the spot and with the Wonder Man player also having Everywhere All at Once in his deck, we managed victory. This Nova deck is the one that I wish that I had in that game.

This is an aerial Justice build. Probably could be used with Wonder Man or Falcon or Angel, but I've played a lot more Nova and I like the occasional Nova Force turn. He also has minimal setup, really just needing that Supernova Helmet turn one and he's ready. Focused heavily on aerial thwarting events to manage multiple schemes in play, he will need help on defense and certainly pushing damage.

Sense of Justice supplements the Supernova Helmet to pay for thwart events: Agile Flight, Everywhere All at Once, Yaw and Roll and his own trusty Lightspeed Flight. Clear the Area gets some card draw, along with Skilled Investigator.

Heroic Conditioning and Heroic Intuition raise Nova's basic THW to 3 because he wants to use that action in order to ready his helmet.

Battlefield Benevolence is an inexpensive confuse for the villain or minions. Turn the Tide might offset the hit point boost to enemies.

Manifold might as well tag along to help the table get their player side schemes out quicker, including our own Lay the Trap for villain damage that scales in multiplayer. Since we have a Champion hero, Wasp: Nadia Van Dyne can come in clutch when there's a thwarting obstacle in play.

Speaking of obstacles, some players have really nasty nemesis minions who can be shuttered in The Raft and not pop up again when heroes are blindly summoning minions from the encounter deck.

Rounding out the deck are some wild resources for Nova's hero specific events and to hopefully get that helmet into play efficiently on turn one.
