Use Practiced Plan to recur Life Model Decoy to keep it in play. This allows Maria to prevent damage from villain attacks and also then defend for others, triggering Unflappable and Defense Specialist for card draw. Prevent overflow damage with Ops Room, getting a bonus ping thwart off of a scheme. This works with allies, too. When Life Model Decoy leaves play, heal White Widow for 2.
Command Team readies up allies who have defended, so they can attack or thwart in the hero phase. Field Agent prevents consequential damage to them. Nick Fury, Sr. puts a tough status card on an ally to defend with impunity.
Night Nurse and Dr. Sinclair can help all heroes at the table in multiplayer.
Support Staff reliably provides the strength resource to play Ready for a Fight. This allows Maria Hill to flip down safely to use her alter-ego ability and tutor SHIELD supports from her deck.
