Building Her Empire
Tigra follows a simple business model: recruit lackeys, squeeze them for profit, and take the competition out without them knowing what hit them.
Hunted and Moon Knight ensure new recruits get put into the fold quickly. Every minion becomes a source of income: Tigra and "Bring It!" draw cards off their presence, and Cat's Head Amulet converts them into resources. For some easy money Tigra can Face the Past, to bring a top enforcer in while bypassing the Criminal Underworld's protection. Quick, smooth, profitable.
Keeping the crew under control is just as important as growing it. Spider-Girl, Feline Senses, and Cat-Like Reflexes help maintain order. The goal isn’t to kill them quickly, it’s to keep them alive and useful until we can profit off them.
Setting the Marks
The aggresion kit is essential for this deck to work, and the cash flow helps us setup and move fast.
- Follow Through and Warrior Skill boost every point of excess damage. Warrior Skill really shines when you need 1 more damage to turn the attack into overkill. It guarantees the hit turns into overkill, turning a single skill counter into 4 damage once all three Follow Throughs are online.
- Air Cover keeps Marked in circulation so every strike goes straight through the minion and into the villain’s face.
- To ensure maximum compliance we can invest on our very own helicarrier, The Bellerophon. A quick get out-of-jail free card if we ever get In Too Deep. It's also useful to prep some targets to maximize overkill damage.
The Payday
Everything hits hardest when a minion is sitting at 1 HP and we have fully setup.
- No Quarter: Hits for 4 and converts the excess into a fresh hand of Aggression cards, generating 7 overkill damage on a perfectly softened minion. Early game it digs for setup pieces; late game it often draws straight into Full-Body Charge.
- Full-Body Charge: A big event dealing 8 base damage, 11 if we overkill. On the rare occasion a minion isn’t Marked, Tigra’s low HP from tanking hits could still trigger the overkill kicker, providing an emergency option. Otherwise, you can always throw it straight at the villain.
- Tooth and Claw: Tigra’s easily discounted double-tap attack event. Against two 1-HP minions, it can hit 14 overkill damage for 2 resources or less.
There's not that many allies, and Moon Knight it's one of our main source of threat management, so prepare to be taking a lot of hits directly, with the occasional basic defend when things get truly dangerous. If it ever gets too dicey you can always snitch on the competition and get a well deserved down time while the cops deal with your problems.
