Energy, Strength, Genius. ESG. Who needs em'. They are for CHUMPS. It is all about the Audacity! The ONLY resource you need.
Seriously though, I noticed the more I played Fury, the more I realised he does not really need the double resources. Of course it is build dependent, but I find most of my turns spamming 1 cost PREPARATION cards.
I mean, the man has Fury's Watch which acts as a double resource generator anyway. Most turns when I had a double resource in hand, the watch was only used to pay for a single resource card. In other words, I was not maximising the use out of my hero kit.
So I decided to cut out ESG, chuck in the best resource in the game, the sheer Audacity of such a claim, and then relented back to some of the minion synergy strategy with "Bring It!", Angela and Spider-Girl.
Keep the cost curve down even further with Grant Ward and on most turns, you'll be looking to play on average 3 cards. Speaking of Grant Ward, he is a pretentious little cretin, but with Audacity, we can keep him in line, when he acts out.
You could swap Aggressive Conditioning out for Endurance if you want to lower the cost curve even further, but given that this is an Assault form Fury build and you want to be basic attacking a fair amount, think Aggressive Conditioning is worth it.
In a similar vain, I could have dropped Spider-Girl, but I quite like her, especially when paired with Face the Past as a means of subduing Orion for a couple of turns. The best thing is that while you are in Stealth form, the checks for both Stun and Confused are triggered (in that order). This means you can stay in Stealth 2 turns in a row and have the minion do nothing for those turns. Because we are not running double resources, we really do want to be keeping at least 1 minion in play on most turns to generate some value out of Man on the Wall and Spider-Girl can go a long way in achieving that objective.
The rest of the deck is the same as previous iterations, but to summarise, abuse Secret Agent by spamming loads of PREPARATION cards to manage threat while powering your suit up for blowout attacks.
