THE WINNING HAND CHALLENGE - EPISODE 87, PRESS THE ADVANTAGE

This deck is a response to the challenge set by the Winning Hand Episode 87, where they ask to build a deck with Press the Advantage to be included.

You can check out Boomguy's Shuri deck here along with other decks created by fellow playas in response to the challenge!

KEY CONCEPTS

A Little Goes A Long Way

So admittedly Press the Advantage isn't a game changer, but it can still be fun to include in decks, with a hidden bonus of card draw. This Ant Man deck looks to build around Press the Advantage's low cost to build Scott's base attack with the ceiling being a whopping 10ATK!

Get Combat Training (+1ATK);

Get Aggressive Conditioning (+1ATK);

With ample attack events, you can conceivably trigger all three Fluid Motion upgrades (+3ATK);

Flip to Giant Form (base of 3ATK) to trigger both Giant Strength upgrades...(+2ATK)...

That's a base attack of 10ATK...plus the three attack events you played along the way -

Press the Advantage (2 damage);

One by One (2 damage);

Flip to Giant Form (1 damage);

Surprise Attack (4 damage)...

Thats a total of 19 damage in one seamless flow of sequences!

Energy & Strength

To try and gain the kicker for Press the Advantage we need to stun and confuse. Ant Man has his built-in Wrist Gauntlets to slow down the enemies. Many of the events and allies chosen were determined by their and resources in order to ensure a better chance of using Wrist Gauntlets.

Quincarrier and the likes of Enhanced Reflexes and Enhanced Physique also help to ensure you don't need to waste your hand to trigger Wrist Gauntlets.

Stellar deck! Wrist Gauntlets with Ant-Man is a fantastic way to build around Press the Advantage. Tons of proper resources to trigger them as well. Very fluid deck!
