…now I’m bored and old.
Well, I’m certainly old, but this deck is anything but boring.
Rightio, for my money, Riri is up there as a S-tier hero, so let’s dive into this one.
Upgrades
Buffing up her baseline with Aggressive Conditioning and Combat Training, plus Soaring Acrobatics gives versatility once you’re in Version 2 or 3.
Ingenuity because of course, she a teenage prodigy. Endurance, of course and for fun, remove it if you want but Godslayer is in. It’s a mental resource too, so burn it for a progress counter if you wish.
Supports
I like Crew Quarters for essentially 2 health back when you drop down; it’s also a mental resource too. Boot Camp is there for it’s resource or if you get through Build Support.
And since Champions don’t get much love in the game, may as well throw in Champions Mobile Bunker.
Allies
Madness not to have Moon Girl in any Ironheart deck, Professor X gives a confuse so you can drop down to rack up progress counters, Two-Gun Kid is a newbie from Civil War box but well worth it. Finally, Spider-Man as he’s a fellow Champion and good value.
Events
Assess the Situation feels perfect here, especially early one with a paltry 4 hand size. I always forget they stack.
Pitchback for Versions 2 & 3, Precision Strike for some healing and Toe to Toe as either a mental resource or to bosh a minion out of existence. Or to the discard pile. Whatever.
Yeah, that’ll do it. Plenty of mental resources, enough going on to smack most things around the chops pretty hard.
Oh, and a gold star to you if you got the song and artist from the deck title. No, don’t google it. I said don’t google it.
You googled it, didn’t you?
