Hulk – Alter-Ego Engine with Ready for a Fight

This Hulk deck is designed to stay in Alter-Ego as much as possible to exploit Hulk’s strengths while avoiding his biggest limitation: the 4-card hand size in Hero form. The strategy revolves around the three copies of Ready for a Fight, which allow you to flip to Hero right when the villain is about to scheme, forcing them to attack you instead. This protects the main scheme while still letting you spend most of the game in Alter-Ego building resources and preparing explosive turns.

Since we almost always end turns in Alter-Ego, we consistently maintain large hand sizes and strong resource generation. To take advantage of this, the deck includes a roster of neutral (white) allies, which can be efficiently played with flexible resources and The Power in All of Us, turning Hulk into an unexpected board-control engine.

When we do switch into Hero form, Multitalented becomes far easier to play and leverage, enabling powerful combo turns that fully utilize Hulk’s burst damage and control tools.

Core Gameplay Flow

Stay in Alter-Ego to draw big, build resources, and set up.

Use Ready for a Fight to flip to Hero when the villain schemes, forcing an attack instead.

Play neutral allies with resource-rich hands and The Power in All of Us.

Use Multitalented and Hero turns for explosive combat swings.

Flip back down and repeat.

A clever strategy that transforms Hulk from unstable and hand-starved into a resource-powered counter-scheming machine, especially strong in multiplayer where timing Ready for a Fight can save entire games.
