My first deck
This deck is intentionally simple and built around Wild resources.
With a baseline 3 DEF, plus Armored Vest and Probability Field, you start with a very strong defensive foundation. Adding Stop Hitting Yourself or Desperate Defense pushes your defense even further, letting you prevent damage while dealing a respectable amount back. Cards like Electrostatic Armor, Flow Like Water, Riposte, and Dauntless help maximize that passive damage every time you defend.
White Fox functions as a practically free ally and Marrow provides excellent value because she can even remove a minion just by entering play.
Your Alter-Ego side is extremely safe thanks to Down Time, meaning you rarely need to flip. Dr. Sinclair and Hidden Base allow you to heal and return to hero form even when exhausted with a Tough status included.
Unflappable consistently gives you a six-card hand, since the deck is designed to avoid taking damage when you defend. Add Avengers Mansion, and you’re at seven cards. With X-Gene and Helicarrier, the resource engine becomes even smoother.
The Power of Protection and Nerves of Steel cover the cost of most of your defense events, letting you use your basic resources when necessary.
Finally, Painted Lady is worth playing early in case your pistols or sharpshooter get discarded. I generally avoid stacking too many cards underneath her because I don’t like flipping to Alter-Ego often and the deck cycles quickly, so you don’t want to lose essential cards to milling.
I see you’re from BAHston…congrats on publishing your first deck!
