Apologies for those outside of the UK who've never seen The Inbetweeners, but as a mid-40s chap, these kind of slightly aged pop-culture references sit in my brain rent-free.
Onto the deck then. I've put together quite a few Basic decks here, with varied success it has to be said, but this one provided something of a head-scratcher for two reasons; firstly, Champion trait hasn't received much love in the game and secondly, given her ability to return events to her hand, with a serious lack of both quality and effective Basic events, I had to think a little outside of the box on this one.
Upgrades
Not much here seemed to fit thematically for the winner of "Stretch Armstrong Tribute Act 2015", so all I've thrown in is Endurance and given we're going ally-heavy, 2 copies of Sidearm.
Supports
Champions Mobile Bunker gives you a level of versatility and Helicarrier helps reduce costs, although given the price of the allies, Team-Building Exercise could replace the former.
It would be very handy if we had a Champions resource generator Upgrade / Support, much like The X-Jet, eh?
Players Side Scheme
Unusually for me, I've thrown two in here. You'll need both of her native upgrades out as early as possible, so Superpower Training helps you find one and Specialized Training let's you choose anything you think would be useful, depending on situation. Me? I've probably take Front Line Specialist, but up to you.
Allies
All the Champions, just, well, all of them. Another thing to moan about - no Champions version of Avengers Tower, is there? These poor Champions, just don't get the love, eh?
Events
In the hope you have both of your native upgrades out, Emergency , Hit and Run and Haymaker become decently effective. I thought about Multitalented for a moment, but actually Hit and Run feels more reliable in this case.
And that's it. Is it the strongest? No, probably not, but actually, not quite as bad as I thought. With a bit of build out, this might be fairly solid.
