As a Kree/Skrull hero, Hulking wields the Kree/Skrull sword of ultimate power! This restricted weapon is not exhausted when used, so powering it up with multiple energy resources can yield explosive damage in the villain phase.
Enhanced Reflexes and Resourceful keep energy resources available at all times. Quincarrier can add another. Nerves of Steel plays Armored Defense to dish out more damage when enemies attack. If in Armored Shape there’s a retaliate, too. Since damage output is higher in the villain phase, Change of Fortune is on hand to capitalize on card draw for the hero turn.
Jocasta tutors a defense event form discard while Brother Voodoo hopes to draw an additional one from the deck. Armored Shape is ideal but Desperate Defense readies up from the villain attack to then defend against a minion. This could be switched out for Riposte to gain even more villain damage instead or I Can Do This All Day to simply not exhaust. All of these events trigger Armored Shape to heal Hulking to take more attacks. Defensive conditioning boosts his stats even more.
Any way you…slice it…this deck is designed to take the ultimate Kree/Skrull weapon powerfully in hand.
