Fairly straightforward deck geared to the NeXt Evolution campaign in Expert mode. Tailored to work in tandem with Cable.
Currently still in early stages of refinement, trying to work on reducing the # of packs required while still maintaining impact.
Objectives (not quite there yet)
- Stay within the POSSE + X-FORCE theme
- keep the packs count low (ouff)
- focus on mutant packs for the aficionados, but could see maybe 1 extra random one.
- provide fuel for those big energy turns, without crippling the deck early
- exploit all the free stuff that Player Side Scheme completions from other players will grant us
Flex Spots/Possible Swaps
-
Crisis Averted, quite good but possibly too inflexible
-
Counterintelligence, Under Surveillance are extremely good at keeping things under control, but balloon our budget so hard. To a smaller extent, so is Clear the Area.
-
Weapon X, X-Gene, X-Mansion also force us to take a little bit of a hit (tho they are within mutant purchases).
+
Spider-Man (the 5 cost Justice one), incredibly impactful card that could show up free through schemes
+
Hope Summers if you're not running the campaign, she's going to be X-FORCE, AND POSSE, AND fetch one of the many very strong SUPERPOWERs Domino has.
+
Three Steps Ahead with the amount of wilds and Jackpot! that Domino has, this is easily 6 thwart spreadable on 3 targets. Doesn't avoid the Crisis icon. I'd say it's something to consider on a per-scenario basis.
+
Want to run a full X-FORCE theme? As the Justice representative you're on Feral, Wolfsbane, Cypher duty.
+
Atlas Bear people say she's good, and she's POSSE, I still need to digest that.
+
Sonic Rifle is a nice additon, which Cypher might like.
