This is an Angel deck that focuses on his Aerial trait and form-changing. Mostly Aerial, though. Since Angel shares traits with 22 cards in the deck (19 Aerial and 3 X-Force), we have included 2 copies of Team-Building Exercise. Nineteen Aerial cards are a lot, so we have also included 2 copies of The Power of Flight. With so many aerial cards and some of them being pretty cheap, Angel should be able to make use of both copies of Team-Building Exercise. Since there are 10 attack events in the game, we have also included a copy of Martial Prowess. So, there are a total of 6 resource generators (if you include Techno-Organic Wings) and 7 resource cards. Angel should be able to accomplish a lot with most of his hands. Speaking of resources and Techno-Organic Wings... if damage isn't super important, keep in mind you can be in Archangel form, use it, then flip to Angel, get a discount of two for the next aerial card and draw a card because of being in Angel form.

Pitchback is a pretty quintessential card in the deck as 1 resource for 4 damage is excellent. It's even better when played for free using Team-Building Exercise/Martial Prowess/Helicarrier. While it can be troublesome to have to use it after an attack, it doesn't have to be a basic attack. Instead of paying for Pitchback using a resource generator, you could pay for it with Avian Anatomy, so that you can play it more than once in a round. Hopefully, you'll be able to use Pitchback after switching forms and using Surprise Attack, which would essentially be 2 resources for 8 damage. This is a fantastic value for simply some aspect cards. It's also very easy for Angel to change forms due to his once per round flip and 2 copies of Metamorphosis. Also, when switching forms, you can take advantage of your single copy of Ready to Rumble.

I think Metamorphosis is one of Angel's key cards. Especially, for getting bonus damage in Archangel while avoiding the acceleration icon or having access to alter-ego for healing without scheming. Therefore, Metamorphosis is the card I put back the most with Worthington Industries and pay for with Avian Anatomy.

While I think Dive Bomb + Honed Technique + Archangel form is the absolute strongest way to play Angel in aggression in a multiplayer game, but I wanted to focus on sacrificing this combo to make him more solo-viable in aggression. In solo, you'll probably want to focus Adaptive Plumage on thwarting, as well as using your basic activation and Ready to Rumble for additional thwarting. You'll also probably focus more on putting Natural Flight back in the deck with Worthington Industries and/or paying for it with Avian Anatomy. Cannonball can also helo with 2 thwarting every round due to so many Aerial cards in the deck.

Please note: If playing multi-player and someone else has Superpower Training in the deck, I'd probably add an additional copy of Dive Bomb or Pitchback, depending on how minion heavy your scenario is.

Hope you enjoy the deck and have success with it!

Angel is so fun to play in Aggression. Neat call on the double Team Building Exercises. Lots of resources for lots of events. I'll have to give this deck a try!
