My blood is boiling and I'm starting to see red All I see is red I'm angry again -Megadeth

This Hulk Protection deck is all about controlling the flow of the game by manipulating when and how the villain activates. It leans into Hulk's raw power but provides a clever, tactical way to survive the villain's turn by using Bruce Banner's intellect to set up your next explosive move. You aren't just smashing blindly; you're waiting for the perfect moment to get angry... again.

The core of the deck revolves around a powerful combination of cards: Ready for a Fight, Perseverance, and ways to safely flip down to Alter-Ego.

The Core Strategy: The "Ready for a Fight" Flip Hulk's greatest weaknesses are his small hand size and his inability to stay in Alter-Ego for long without the villain's scheme getting out of control. This strategy turns that weakness into a strength.

Here is the step-by-step breakdown:

The Setup: During your turn, your goal is to set up a situation where you can safely flip down to Bruce Banner. The best way to do this is by using an ally like Professor X to Confuse the villain.

The Interrupt: This is where the magic happens. Ready for a Fight is an Interrupt with the text, "When the villain phase begins... change to your hero form." Before the villain can even add a single point of threat to the main scheme, you play this card.

The Payoff: You immediately flip from Bruce Banner to Hulk. The game state has now changed. When the villain proceeds with their activation, they no longer see an Alter-Ego to scheme against. They see a very angry Hulk in hero form, so they attack you instead. Because you smartly played Perseverance after flipping the entire attack is absorbed by your Tough status, dealing you zero damage.

You have successfully negated the villain's scheme, taken no damage, kept your hand of cards, and used Bruce Banner's ability, all while setting yourself up to be in Hero form for your next turn, ready to unleash a devastating Hulk Smash or Crushing Blow.

Key Cards and Synergies Practiced Plan: This upgrade is the glue that holds the core strategy together. It allows you to bring Ready for a Fight back to your hand for another use, making the combo much more consistent.

Face the Past: This event is a powerhouse for Hulk. First, it's a physical resource, which Hulk loves for triggering his abilities. More importantly, it readies Hulk and gives you 3 resources. This can create explosive turns where you attack, play Face the Past to ready, and then have the resources for Abomination, he is cakewalk You can use use the Hulk Smash to deliver a huge burst of overkill damage directly to the boss.

Banner's Laboratory: This is arguably the most important card for Hulk. Increases your REC generates a mental synergies with Dr Sinclair no exhausting needed.

Allies for Thwarting: Let's be clear: Hulk smashes, allies thwart. Your allies are your primary source of threat removal. Professor X is a "get out of jail free" cards, to Confuse the which makes it safe to flip down and initiate your core strategy. Moon Girl helps mitigate Hulk's small hand size by letting you draw a card when she enters play. Grant Ward is amazing here; when you draw a treachery, you can use a mental resource from Ingenuity or Quincarrier to avoid the negative outcome

Sub-Orbital Leap: Hulk's secondary weakness is threat removal. This deck includes two copies of this card to give you a powerful, albeit expensive, way to clear the board when the main scheme gets too high.

Supports & Resources: Cards like Helicarrier, Quincarrier, and Ingenuity are vital for helping you afford your big events and combos, mitigating Hulk's poor economy and small hand size.

This deck is a puzzle. You spend the early game building your support engine and controlling the board with your allies. Then, when the moment is right, you execute the "Ready for a Fight" flip to weather the storm and come back swinging for massive, game-ending damage.

Great design, my man! Love the theme of Banner setting every thing up so that Hulk can go in and smash. Cleverly done, with only physical and mental resources. Hardly any energy resources to get in your way. We'll designed and looks like an epic blast, my dude!
