Gamora sits back and shoots things.

Why waste activations on basic attacks when her events are so fantastic? Basic defense is her best friend. (She is a ranged character after all.)

This deck is loaded with low cost attack events.

When we use an attack event, we trigger:

Essentially, each attack event triggers an extra 2 damage. The first attack event each round triggers an extra 1 thwart.

Paying for events (Mana Rocks):

At full build, you will have 4 free resources per round to sink into attack events.

Firepower:

Firepower is one of the strongest attack events in the game, dealing an absolutely outrageous 3 damage per weapon exhausted. Furthermore, this increases to 4 damage per weapon exhausted when paid for with Aggressive Energy. That is 9-12 damage for one resource.

The purpose of Gamora's weapons is to sit on the field until you draw Firepower. Jarnbjorn and Plasma Pistol were chosen because they have the lowest cost in the card pool; don't worry about activating them.

Other Synergies:

Why do we have Fluid Motion if we aren't using basic attacks? For synergy with Counter-Punch. It is cheaper than Combat Training, and I wasn't confident the deck needed both. The boost of Fluid Motion from 2 to 3 damage seems more impactful than boosting it again from 3 to 4.
