Find Your Perfect Match With Encounter
You are an Avenger. Don't settle for some broke 0-1 boost cards. You deserve better! This deck will help you swipe left on those scrubs so you can find yourself a real boost card. You'll be cycling the deck so much, you might see an extra acceleration or 2, but no biggie, we've got threat locked down too.
Prepare your Profile
Finding a perfect match takes preparation. Have a Practiced Plan ready, cuz we've got 3 different preparations to use it with. Aerial Evacuation and Draw Their Fire are not key cards to the deck, but they are well worth using in the right situation. Intelligence on the other hand, is a major component to this deck, and one that you'll want to have out as much as possible. More on that later!
Swipe Left
Swipe left on anything you don't want. Falcon's Eagle-Eyed ability is the main way to do this. His signature kit is full of aerial cards to trigger it, but we have Yaw and Roll as well. Prioritize Falcon's Flock to maximize your swipes-per-turn, and use Sam's birds of a feather ability to get it right back into play after fully spent. Try to use The Power of Flight to play flock for maximum efficiency. Aerial Recon can take away a low boost card as long as you don't mind revealing it later.
With Infiltration, you can choose to discard the top card to do 1 thwart, if you want to insure not getting a minion. Or you can chance it and go for all 5. Either way, it changes the top card. Cosmo can give you an extra swipe every turn whenever you want, and he won't take any consequential for it!
Do you feel like your algorithm just keeps giving you the absolute worst boost cards? Use One Way or Another to reshuffle that deck and reset your algo! Use Going Undercover to filter your results.
Swipe Right
Swipe right on good boost cards! 3's and 4's all day, baby!!! Once you find one you like, we've got a bunch of options: Redwing's ability is the go to, for sure. Its very reliable and spammable as many times as you can afford in one turn. Falcon's Flock greatly increases how many times you can replay your bird friend, and you can take advantage of Eagle-Eyed in between bounces. swipe left, swipe right, swipe left, swipe right
Falcon's events, Bird of Prey and Bird's-Eye View, are fantastic when you swipe right. They are also aerial so they also get a discount from Falcon's Flock and Team-Building Exercise.
We've also got Misty Knight and Wiccan, with a similar effect, but only when they attack. Misty lets you look at the top 2 cards and swipe right on one of them. The other gets put back on top, which will be important in the next section! Her effect is an interrupt, so you can even trigger it on her very last thwart. Wiccan's effect is a response though, so it's best to use it once, and then chump block.
Before swipping right, don't forget to throw out a Talon Line! You should certainly have at least 2 boost icons, which means you can stun the villain and ready Falcon.
Perfect Match!
We don't do blind dating over here. You're going to have to reveal some cards, and you should be able to choose the ones that are right for you. How do you know what your perfect match is?
I know it sounds cliche, but it's not all about the size of the boost. Encounter cards have text boxes.... and sometimes that matters too, ya know? If you really want a perfect match, forget about the pips. That's just a number at the end of the day. Close your eyes and imagine revealing that card. How does it make you feel? Relieved? That's how you know you've got a perfect match!
Once you've found your match, don't swipe! Lock it in. We've got 2 ways to do that.
-
Aerial Recon let's you lock in a match once per turn, allowing you to prevent a random reveal later. Try to use this every turn. Remember Misty from before? When you look at the top 2 cards with her ability, keep Aerial Recon in mind. If one of those 2 cards would be an easy encounter reveal, put that back on top!

Intelligence is the ultimate matchmaker. This is better the more encounter cards are out, so ideally use it alongside Aerial Recon, and on turns with extra encounter cards (like when you reshuffle your deck). It's better in multiplayer, but still useful for solo. With multiple players at the table, not only do you get more encounter cards, you also have more players which increases the strength of the matches. Give Hulk the cards that deal indirect damage. Give Maria the card that stuns and confuses your hero. Give caught off guard to someone with a 0 cost upgrade they don't care about. And if that isn't good enough, you also get to control what card goes on top, meaning that you set yourself up for a big Swipe Right next turn!
At some point, you will have to stop swiping and just put the phone down. You want to end your turn with a low boost without harmful boost abilities. All of the swiping abilities are optional, so if you end up in a situation where its near the end of your turn and you have a harmless boost on top, consider just leaving it there!
Personalize your Profile!
I originally had Gambit in here, as well as Agent Coulson and Chance Encounter (to really focus in on the prep cards), but they ultimately didn't make the cut. I just wasn't getting much use out of them compared to the other cards here. Feel free to add them back in if that sounds interesting. Add more copies of Skilled Investigator in multiplayer. Build Support and Superpower Training are also worth considering.
In solo, you may not find yourself playing the prep cards as much. You could remove the Practiced Plans and replace them with allies of your choice.
If you liked this, make sure to swipe right on that ♡ and ★, and leave a comment if this deck was a perfect match for you!

Jul 10, 2025This looks really fun. Predictable Ploy is one I might try to add in when I play, but you’d need more PSS if you’re playing solo to make sure it hits reliably. |
