Having put up a Cyclops-Aggression deck earlier (https://marvelcdb.com/decklist/view/51830/red-eyed-guy-and-friends-1.0) I thought the very fun Rogue-Wolverine interaction - check the deck out, as can’t be bothered to re-type it all again. Ok, fine, the short version; Wolverine takes 1 damage and Rogue attacks each round for a minimum 5.

Nice.

Anyway, I thought this may also work nicely in a Leadership deck where you could just go mad and buff everyone up even more.

It’s pure squad tactics, this one. So here goes…

Glob and Shark-Girl to attack enemies with attachments, keeping it on theme with Scott’s ability.

Professor X in case you need to drop down, Triage for some healing and the aforementioned attacking of the Southern Belle and the hairy one.

Any of whom can be buffed up with Team Training and Danger Room Training and one of whom you can make your Sidekick - I’d go with Rogue if you can but that’s up to you, of course.

All helped by Med Lab, Won't Stay Down and Game Time to recycle / heal them, with Suit Up to help you go digging in the first place.

So a full breakdown of possible (albeit very unlikely Rogue-Wolverine interaction, with upgrades):

Now, the good stuff. A long-shot? Absolutely. But if it was to ever come off. Here goes:

  1. Get Team Training out
  2. Get Wolverine out
  3. Upgrade with Danger Room Training
  4. Get Rogue out
  5. Upgrade with Danger Room Training
  6. Upgrade her with Sidekick
  7. Now, use her ability to take Wolverine's attack - he heals the 1 damage every round anyway.

She's now attacking for 7 every round with 7HP. And when she's gone, you've got 6 rounds of 4 ATK from Wolverine.

For a cost of 12, you've done 73 damage. Blimey.

That’s before you’ve used Game Time, Triage or X-Mansion on her.

Yeah, it’s a pipe-dream, but it’s a fun one.
