Gamora is usually an awkward fit for leadership, but Firepower and a variety of Guardian-locked upgrades/supports combine to make some neat synergies. In true Gamora-fashion, this deck wants to do several things a turn. It is built around playing and equipping a steady parade of allies, as opposed to building up and maintaining persistent ones.
Guardians of the Galaxy, Knowhere, and Helicarrier are this deck's economic backbone, allowing you play and equip allies on the cheap and letting you to see a lot of cards each turn. Build Support can help you play those earlier. I would mulligan to have at least one of these in your starting hand.
Then it's a matter of getting allies into play and equipping them. Make the Call gives consistent access to allies and this deck has 9 separate ally-upgrades to give them, 6 of which are Firepower targets. I found I quickly and consistently had 2 Firepower targets in play, making the event hit for 6, with range, for 2ER. Nice way to deal with the Nebula nemesis' 5 HP and 2 retaliate! Your allies can get in on the action too, with 2 copies of Target Practice to make the most of Laser Blaster's overkill. It's also a nice upgrade to "chump block" a treachery that forces a support removal. Target Practice does not exhaust the ally's weapon, so you can have a big turn playing it and Firepower.
It's not directly part of the deckbuilding, but playstyle-wise, this deck's cheap allies and upgrades gives Gamora plenty of opportunity to play her events. Late game turns can be very powerful with Gamora mixing it up in front of a team of kitted-out allies. I hope you enjoy this deck!
Out of curiosity, after play-testing this deck, I checked to see if anyone else had the same idea of Gamora + leadership + Firepower. It looks Castlefrank47 beat me to the punch by a couple of weeks! Definitely check out his Guardians of the...Armory?. It's really cool to see how we had two different approaches to the same concept. I think Gamora is a nicer leader in his deck than mine, haha!
