So I built this a ways back and have proxied it to test it out, and it's been a pretty great deck.

Rogue is the absolute queen of Strength in Diversity. First, she has access to Children of the Atom, giving her 3 traits, and then using Touched on a villain or minion, she can easily pick up 2 to 3 traits that are often unavailable on hero cards (Brute, Criminal, Masters of Evil, et al.). This deck loads her up with loads of allies, most of which add at least 2 more traits.

You are going to want to 2 things early in the game: 1) Get out at least 2 allies so that Band Together is at least a double resource and 2) Get a side scheme in the victory display so you can play Mission Planning. You can help both of these if you get Call for Backup resolved quickly.

Hugin & Munin and Vivian are both trait goldmines (although they do both share Aerial, so they clash very slightly, but not enough to matter). The only allies with just one trait are Gambit (Who you can't leave at home), Maria Hill (Who can be left out in solo, but is valuable in multiplayer), and Yondu (Who is a great ally and brings Guardian into the mix)

You are going to want to get as many traits as you can on the table and keep them there. These allies are NOT for chump blocking except in critical situations. Not only do they provide you traits for Strength in Diversity, but they fuel Band Together. Keep them alive by using Mission Planning and Med Lab gives you a way to use them up and get them back. You can use Leadership Training and Black Panther to recycle Mission Planning, but even better, Strength in Diversity.

When looking to play Strength in Diversity, check your cost vs reward. If you are wanting to do a lot of damage you probably want at least 3 traits per player, preferably 4 (2 resources for 3 damage is pretty bad, 2 for 4 is meh) but the math gets better faster for Thwarting (2 for 3 is pretty average and 2 for 4 is getting good). If you can pull off 5 traits per player, make that card happen. Another bonus to this card is how it deals damage, it does it one point at a time, so you can use one point to knock off tough and then apply the rest as damage. Also, it is not an attack or a thwart, so you can use it when you are stunned or confused and ignore Guard and Patrol. Those are bonuses that go beyond simple math.

Rogue has Deft Focus to help her play her own cards, and you could definitely add X-Gene for further assistance with them if you find it lacking. Rogue also has loads of hijinks available in multiplayer with Superpower Adaptation, so may occasionally find reasons to use Touched on non-villains when you're not playing Strength in Diversity.

New Recruits is here to provide another option for getting a side scheme into Victory and provides the New trait to the trait pool.

I've had some very big turns (16 traits was my max in 2-Player) that can rock pretty much any villain's world. A multiplayer game with 2 people running Strength in Diversity decks and the others building around filling in missing traits and providing Alliance resources would be monstrous.

Optional add on - X-Gene, Power of Leadership x1 or x2

Solo Play - Cut Maria Hill

This is really cool! I'll have to break Rogue out to give this one a shot, love that the damage is applied a point at a time like that I didn't realize

I'm pretty confident on that. If I am wrong and someone better with the rulings can correct me, please let me know.
