So... I'm back with another Miles Morales Leadership deck. But I think this time it's rather different.
While my recent deck ('Cause I'm Always Gonna Answer When You Call My Phone) focused on Maria Hill recursion for multiplayer, this deck actually is more solo-focused.
One of the key dynamics is getting out a Command Team and then putting Slingshot into play and readying her every turn.
Spider-Man 2099 is super fun but he's more of a late-game play to close things out. In the late game, a second Command Team readying Peter Parker or Miguel O'Hara can help the deck press loads of damage to close things out.
Now, while it is solo-ready, it's perfectly capable in multiplayer. Some notes are required:
— You will want to add in 1x or 2x Cell Phone in multiplayer. They're just a fun card and you can easily play them with The Power in All of Us. Additionally, if Ghost-Spider is on the table, Cell Phone helps you use Peter Parker off-turn to ready Ghost-Spider exactly when she needs it.
— Speaking of Ghost-Spider, you may play this alongside Ghost-Spider, Spider-Man, or SP//dr heroes, in which case, drop the allies, add Cell Phones, and another copy of Clarity of Purpose would not go awry, either.
— If you really want to keep Peter or Miguel on the board, you may want a First Aid, however: Peter can easily be replayed with Make the Call or Across the Spider-Verse after using his last use, and Miguel often hits the table only in the last 2-3 turns anyway. This is sort of my thinking with leaving out Team Training this go-around, too, but your mileage may vary, maybe you want to toss one in.
— If you really want a player side scheme, consider Specialized Training: you should be able to knock it down, and if it's super worthwhile for at least one other player, that's a fun add. Call for Backup would not be a bad include for getting Miguel or Peter, but only use if it's necessary.
— I don't love Miles' 9 hit points and I love his 4 REC, so I've found Endurance is not a bad include if you have any worries about damage breaking through to Miles. You could even run another copy for a friend.
— If you really need degenerate card draw for the table, of course Maria Hill and Mission Leader would be possible to add, but that's sort of played out. "Imma do my own thing" this time around.
This is awesome. Love seeing Miles enjoying his Web Warrior side.
