The name of the game is "progress counters". Most everything you do should be in service to generating counters to level Ironheart up to Version 3 for the Maximum Efficiency ability.

Early on, try and get out as many counter/resource/card generators as you can, Ronnie Williams, Ingenuity, Avengers Mansion, Tony Stark A.I., etc. Try and coordinate your Fly Over and Photon Beam to maximize progress counters. And always try and take Stroke of Genius when using Tony Stark A.I. or New and Improved. With the right momentum, you could be achieving Version 2 on turn 2 and Version 3 on turn 3 or 4 even.

Then late game it's all about continuing those progress counters, and hitting them hard. Every other turn you should be switching from Hero to Alter-Ego, generating 2 resources from your Child Prodigy ability and Ronnie Williams, and then 2 more resources before you switch back to Hero mode next turn. That's 8 damage every other turn. That will be on top of filtering through your deck with Tony Stark A.I., Plan of Attack, and New and Improved to get cards like Photon Beam, Fly Over, and Stroke of Genius. With the additional progress tokens you will be generating from those, you should be looking at about 14 damage every other turn. And those progress counters are just free real estate. That's ON TOP OF the damage you can now be doing with all your big hitters like Dive Bomb. Your attack cards should now be much easier to pay for with all the resource generation and extra cards you have.

The best part is you don't even have to spend those progress counters right away. Sit on them and build them up. Spend them here and there to quickly kill any minions that pop up. Then when you have enough progress counters to take the villain out, take off your limiters and unleash the nuke.
