Silk is a very interesting concept for a hero, with her own cards mostly revolving around stealing villain cards to tuck those under her, so why not try to take this to its logical extreme?
With all the potential villain deck interaction in both justice and normal cards, we can pretty much dictate what the enemy will (or won't) do in its turn.
So, what are the ways that we can look at the villain deck?
For starters, Global Logistics gives us the opportunity to look at the top 4 and discard / rearrange those, or put them at the bottom of the deck in a fixed order, which will let you know what the villain will do by the end of its deck. The Going Undercover side scheme has a similar effect (although you can only do that once because of it being a victory side scheme). Then we have her own side scheme Get the Scoop which lets you tuck one of the 2 top cards under your identity, which also lets you see what the other card that is going to come as a boost card. (Get the Scoop can also be cycled back into play by J. Jonah Jameson, and in case that you need him to thwart from side schemes, Manifold can also get it back to your hand to then be played for free) The Madame Web ally also has a similar effect of letting you look at the top cards of the encounter deck and putting them back in any order. To a lesser extent, Blindfold also lets you look at the top cards and discard 1, however you will have to put the cards back in the same order.
Then, in case that the top remains cards you don't want, you can use either Infiltration to remove those cards from the top, and, if you had the time to set it up, use Pulse Grenade to remove cards with a good amount of boost to use as a potential nuke on big minions / some nice damage on the villain. (Yes i know, a deck that actually can use Pulse Grenade?)
Having this many ways to look at the top of the deck, it's also pretty easy to use Scarlet Spider as a delayed card draw engine.
All these ways make it very easy for you to use Eidetic Memory to force a card to be your revealed card and maybe swap it out with a different one under silk, as you can easily force certain encounter set cards under silk with Smooth as Silk with this insane amount of deck manipulation. It also lets you efficiently use Spider Reflexes to defend against the villain by forcing villain cards under your identity, rendering you effectively invulnerable.
Apart from that, de deck is filled up with some more useful allies that also mess with the villain deck (Wiccan and Melinda May, the latter adding an extra shield card to tap for global logistics if necessary), some more useful web-warriors, The Raft to lock minions in jail and some resource generation.
This deck and its allies are pretty expensive to play, so if you dislike the idea of needing this much setup with resource generators for which you might not have the time, just swap Helicarrier out for either another resource card, or maybe a Team-Building Exercise as it is 1 resource cheaper and you want to cycle your web-warriors as much as possible anyways.
Enjoy!
I love how all in on deck manipulation this is. As somebody who loves Global Logistics in solo, how could I say no?
