Angel has a lot of versatility. With two different hero modes, he can easily take care of both thwarting and attacking. But come on. Do you really think that an ultra-rich, snobby playboy is going to get his hands dirty? Heck no! He'll pay someone to punch those goons for him.
Enter Cannonball. Normally, a 2/2/2 ally that takes 2 consequential damage wouldn't be much to write home about, but he's got a little secret. See, Cannonball takes one less consequential damage for each Aerial-traited card in your hand, and Angel has a lot of Aerial cards. His kit comes with 10 Aerial events, and I added an additional 8 other Aerial cards (including Cannonball). So while it's a 45-card deck, over a third of the deck has the Aerial trait, so most turns, you'll be able to use him and he'll take no consequential damage.
And since you'll have Cannonball to punch people, you can focus on staying in Angel form to handle threat. Which then brings Psylocke into play. Psylocke has an ability that after she performs an attack, if your hero is in Angel form, she heals one damage. Which means that if you are always in Angel form when she activates, she's immortal.
To leverage your allies to the fullest, I included cards like Inspired and Sidearm to bump their stats. I also included upgrades like Cell Phone and Leadership Skill to give them one-activation boosts. And then have your Get Ready on hand to use them again and again. Once they're upgraded, you've basically got a 4/3 and a 3/2 ally (that you can boost to 6/5 and 5/4) and use them forever. All Angel has to do is sit back and watch (and maybe occasionally thwart).
I took a previous version of this deck through Next Evolution with the goal of never purposely flipping to Archangel and not doing any damage as a hero. I only had to flip and do damage once throughout the campaign. I guess money really is a superpower.
