I haven't seen lots of decks using Sidekick combo, so I wanna test it out with one of the most brain-burning-to-play hero: Domino.

The most crucial reason is that she has Diamondback, one of the best identity-specific ally in the game. The second-most crucial reason for my choices here is that... Domino has 2 identity-specific allies, so based on the situations, you can choose either of them to apply this strategy! (and 3rd reason is that Sidekick is a wild resource card =)))

So the basic thing is: you try to call out Diamondback and Sidekick upgrade asap with Suit up, then throw (usually)2 damages to the villian and all other enemy in play with her ability. Side-by-side and The posse will help you get Diamondback up and deal damage again. It's not an attack, so she can't suffer from retaliation, and with +2 hp from Sidekick, she can do that at least 4 times. And guess what, if you do that when Domino is in Alter-ego, she can also heal 2 damages each time your identity make a basic recovery. And believe me, with 2 powerful support cards (Painted lady and Pip the pug), you would want Domino to stay in Alter-ego as long as possible.

Let's do a highlighted combo:

  • Spend 1 resource to play Sidekick, then spend Jackpot to play Diamondback
  • Exhaust Pip the Pug to take Jackpot back to top of the deck
  • Exhaust Diamondback (deal 1 damage to her) and discard Jackpot to deal 3 damages to each enemy in play
  • Use Painted Lady to retrieve Jackpot under it, then exhaust it to take Jackpot back to hand
  • Spend Jackpot and another resouce to play Beast, which then immediately give you back Jackpot (Crazy, I know right!)
  • Spend Jackpot AGAIN to play a posse ally (Outlaw, Atlas bear, or even Hope Summer, since she can copy trait). Ok now you have 3 allies by just using Jackpot!
  • Use Domino eff (alter-ego) to swap Jackpot in the discard pile and another card from your hand
  • Change to hero form, then use her eff to swap Jackpot with the top card of the deck
  • Exhaust Domino to do a basic action
  • Playing Side-by-side (or even better, The Posse) to ready Domino and Diamondback back up and heal 1 damage from each of them (or +1ATK/THW, depends on the situation). Then repeat the combos!

I know, sounds super complex, huh? But that's how you play Domino - and it's super fun =))

Remember, Pip the Pug and The painted lady are always needed when playing Domino, with or without this strategy, so they must be your priorities. The sidekick combo can come a little later, but it's okay. So try to put those supports out in first 1-2 turns, staying at alter-ego if possible. You might think that this deck leans more on attacking side, but it's not too bad at thwarting. It might need some changes to do it solo, but on multiplayer it's fantastic!

For customization, you can consider:

  • Kaluu: help you search events you need quicker
  • Get ready: to ready Diamondback back up with 0 cost
  • Deadpool: Simply because he has wild resource
  • Hope Summer: She can copy Posse trait and give you a superpower card (which Domino has the most)

I've played this deck in Mojomania campaign, and it has done a very good job. So if you're interested, pls try it and give me some feedback. Many thanks!

Sidekicking Diamondback is a great idea!! Even just using Suit Up to get the posse out quickly is so worth it!

Zola, Green Goblin and Master Mold have been tested (Standard III + Expert II modular), and the deck worked really well, guys. They're all minion-spamming scenarios. I'm not certain this deck can go against heavily-scheming villians, but it surely will work in multiplayer games.
