Imagine Magik opening portals to Limbo, and the X-Men leap out, charging into battle. When wounded, they retreat through the portals, only to emerge once more, fully recovered and ready to fight again.

The goal of the deck is to play To Me, My X-Men! and Mutant Mayhem in the same turn.

Why? Cause we get to keep the ally we play with To Me, My X-Men!. Mutant Mayhem returns that aly to hand and then it gets replayed for free so now we have a new instance of the played ally and thats why that ally wont be coming back to hand at end of phase.

Is all this worth it? Lets see through a generic example. We have a 2 att/thw ally (ally A)in play that is exhausted. We play To Me, My X-Men! and hit another 2 att/thw ally (ally B). We use ally B to 2 att/thw then play Mutant Mayhem. Both allies come back to hand and we play them again for free. We use them both for another 2 att/thw each which results in total of 6 att/thw. And to do all this we spend 6 cards, 2 for To Me, My X-Men! and 4 for Mutant Mayhem. You might think 6 cards for 6 thx/dmg is mediocre result and that is true but if we factor in that we have two brand new allies in play that can probably activate 1 more time for another 2 att/thw each and then potentially block the value gets a lot better. And finally if we factor in the enter in play abbilities of the played allies the value becomes crazy good. Also we can use Command Team before we use Mutant Mayhem to make this combo even better.

The hard part is to draw both To Me, My X-Men! and Mutant Mayhem in the same turn. For this reason i picked to build this deck with Magik, since she has access to Spiritual Meditation and Scrying to help us dig through the deck and find what we need faster and easier. Magiks hero form ability also helps by allowing us to see the top card of the deck with the opportunity to play it if we want. And lastly there is Limbo. If we already used Magiks hero ability and then we reveal the card we need on top of the deck, we can use Limbo to swap a card from hand with the needed card. Also its worth mentioning that Limbo can be used to place allies from our hand to the top of the deck so To Me, My X-Men! can always have a target to hit.

We are running only X-Men allies so we run 2 copies of Children of the Atom to be able to play Mutant Mayhem. Finding and playing this card is very important!

If we are having hard time pulling the combo off its not that much of a big deal. Both To Me, My X-Men! and Mutant Mayhem are very good on their own and can be played seperately for good value. Just remember that we need Children of the Atom to be able to play Mutant Mayhem.

That about sums up the deck. I could maybe trim the deck to less than 46 cards (i was thinking cutting 1 Children of the Atom, 2 Command Team and 2 The Power of Leadership which would make it a 41 card deck), but i think i will be testing this version first.

If you happen to try the deck and pull off the combo please let me know how crazy was your turn! And as alwasy thank you for reading.

I did a deck really similar to this when mutant mayhem came out. It's a super fun playstyle and got even better with Children of the atom and the new x allies. I didn't run to me in mine but I love the combo there. I had Summoning Spell and rapid response to further the idea of "portaling" allies. Good stuff!

@Castlefrank47 yeah mutant mayhem is super cool but i wanted to make it even better. Also cheating allies into play seemed fun haha
