This is my favorite deck from among decks I've built and played myself so far.
Overview
Leverage Ghost Spider's ability and Web Bracelets fully from the first round to the last. The Deck is not dependent on any specific board state, though Combat Training helps a bunch. Combo attacks or defenses into responses to get more cards and more attacks. But best of all, switching in and out of Alter Ego barely disrupts your flow.
Stealth Mode
Alter Ego functions as more of a stealth mode in this deck. The idea is to use George Stacy and/or Plan of Attack to ensure that you always exit Alter Ego with Surprise Attack, allowing you to Ready after Recovery and setting up Fluid Motion for the basic activation, which is then itself followed with a Ghost Kick or Ghost Flip. Set up your Upgrades with Everyday Hero so you never need multiple rounds to get back to full. A normal turn that starts in Alter Ego could end with Recovering for 3-6 while dealing 16 damage. A round that starts in Hero mode can top 20 damage as early as round 2.
Versatile
This deck also leverages the fact that Ghost Spider's ability says once per "phase" and she has 3 defense. Use Warning to ready after Defense, then on your turn attack using skilled strike to stay Ready for a third activation in one round.
Why it works
Ultimately the deck doesn't need Allies because defense and healing in alter ego don't disrupt your damage flow. While the upgrades help, the deck functions from the first round without being dependent on any specific board state. You're always pushing your win condition right from the start.
