I put together this deck to be an option for introducing new players to the game. I tried to include a little bit of everything the game has, but to be pretty simple to navigate.
Spiderman comes built with some good interrupts and responses to use during the villain phase and some ways to help other players avoid some potentially nasty hits. Make use of Beat Cop to passively manage threat for the whole game. If you can get them out early they are very cost efficient cards. If its after turn 4 or 5, they are probably going to be less worthwhile since unless the game is progressing slowly. Web-Shooter, Sense of Justice, and Ingenuity will make sure you don’t have many problems paying for cards. Skilled Investigator, Clear the Area, and Black Cat will keep cards flowing into your hands and Chance Encounter will occasionally get you a useful ally to summon.
Other than that, keep the threat down, keep yourself healthy, and pop the villain with Swinging Web Kick when you can.
