My first deckbuilding foray.
I looked for trait locked cards that would synergise with Venom, which led me to a deck built around the Guardian and Weapon keywords.
My first playtest beat Mutagen Formula/ Goblin Gimmicks on Standard.without breaking a sweat. Some punchy damage, card and resource generation, cost reduction, a bit of enhanced chump blocking with Groot, Rocket taking out Minions and Drax steadily burning down the villain. Weapon upgrades didn't make an appearance in this test, I'll need a few more games to see if that was just the way the cards came up.
It needs more plays, first against Expert MF, then other villains, but I'm pleased with the balance and power level so far.
