This protection deck is very strong. Has more than enough Thwart, Damage, Protection, etc. I find this build to be a solid balance to take care of most Villains.
The Allies in this deck all have value when put out, and it is quite common to get 3 or 4 out at once. Her defensive events not only keep her but her allies alive longer. Mutant Protectors and Colossus allow you to play an ally out from your hand on the Villain turn. Protective Training keeps Rockslide and Colossus alive longer, especially if Polaris or Iceman comes out to help out.
The Sorcerer Supreme allows a very large hand size when you consider she can play the top card of her deck as if it were in her hand, and she has a hand size of +1.
