This deck is my main deck that I use in both solo play and in cooperative with friends. For Solo, I play True-Solo (FYI).

Deck Build Focus - The premise of the deck was to make Hulk and Drop Kick almost a lock to do all the work every time you lay them down. We are sitting on a plethora of red resources, and with Keen Instincts we almost NEVER struggle to get full value out of those cards. Hulk's flips are generous (usually Aggression, if not Justice), and if you're good about watching your bin, you can be even more sure based on the low count of Protection and Leadership pitch icons.

Four allies feels perfect in my honest opinion. Drax provides gas to race. Nebula can go grab you whatever thwart or attack you need based on situation. Spider-Man puts in WORK the turn he drops, and provides solid value overall. Hulk... Does his JOB and is VALUE in this deck!!!

You draw all the cards between Gamora's Alter-Ego ability and this deck being 100% committed to events (26). Plus the draws from Drop Kick and Clear the Area are extremely high probability. It has a little added healing via Endurance, and Momentum Swing. It can deal with tough statuses just fine thanks to pings and Piercing Strike (I do find these useful, even though it's a flex slot). She pretty much plays herself based on whether or not you need heavy attack, or thwart each turn. Play to board state and she can just control the show.

Most of the time, I find myself either not having to block due to stuns, or taking some damage to come back and heal it up via the cards that cover that in the deck. Her 10 health is pretty gracious if you ask me.

Personal Thoughts - She is fun, she is ruthlessly fast and she is very thematic in my honest opinion if you're a fan of the Guardian movies. Thwarting against the enemy, getting in her jabs, versatile, doing all the things. Added bonus if you know her comic backstories from Infinity Watch and the like.

If you enjoy a deck that can draw cards, do great damage, reliably stun, deal with schemes, declare race (at times), etc., this is your girl! Give her a run and let me know how she does or what you feel like works best here!

Great deck. I loved getting to lean into her abilities so much. Also, it’s so rewarding to have Hulk do extra damage! Thanks for posting it.

Appreciate that coming from someone who does so much for the community. Thanks brother. I shared your Venom Justice deck with my buddy today, so he could check it out. Let you know what he says!

I love momentum shift with Gamora. Momentum shift with Hulk who will occasionally hit an energy resource. Amazing! Great work - thanks for sharing!

Yeah dude. She's not as squishy as some, but honestly I like not HAVING to recover if I don't need to. Even though Gamora loves flipping with how much Thwart she can do. Still nice to be able to sit in hero form longer and continually get pings. Especially if you're gonna slam a cross-counter on Villain turn. The extra health is really nice, and the fact that this essentially heals 2, deals 2, and ten procs her thwart ping... No brainer imho for 2. Super good value.

Momentum Shift on Gamora is giga-brain! Why didn't I think of that?!

Haha Ghost! As my son would say, "big brains", LoL! Yeah that was my last addition, tweak to the deck tbh. I just found there were some villains and games where it really helped. Especially in games where you're taking indirect damage, and/or where the villain pumps attacks more. For sure a nice little piece of tech.

Just played this deck against Venom, great game lots of stuns during the 1st 3 rounds, downside was that i had alot of facedown encounter cards waiting for me... But dam this deck work!

Jasper, not gonna lie bro. I tend to prioritize the board, but race where feasible man. Between the stuns, heals, just enough allies to hold down fort and help with blocks, thwart pings, great scheme control with the justice cards and forward momentum... I try and land a drop kick or two, drop a Hulk or Drax and get a big Decisive Blow. Usually it's enough.

I run a deck pretty close to this but also include What Doesn't Kill Me. Not an attack which will proc her ability (obviously), but a heal and a ready are nice with 2/2/2 stat line! Great build!

Hey Solo! Yeah, I can definitely see the merit in that for sure man. Sometimes I do wish I could get another swing in there. Also, it's nice if you tap down to recover, flip and then play that cause she's ready to do her thing for the turn. Definitely versatile tech man. Protection has some cool cards for sure. I run those as an auto three of in my X-23 Protection/Ready deck. Posting that one up today actually. Appreciate you stopping in to comment man!

I'll have to give this a shot! I like the emphasis on events in the deck to maximize your use of her hero responses. Playing into Hulk is a ever addition and smart say to capitalize on the number of physical resources. Nicely done!

@AncientEpithetyeah, pings are too useful against Tough, spreading damage, etc. Huge help in many a game and even better in coop to assist with pinging minions across board. The thwart pings help make Clear the Area more reliable with the draw proc too, and are great on a 3 turn attack hand (events) to essentially get a free thwart event value wise. Her abilities are super legit!

What do mean by "Protection and Leadership pitch icons"? Do you mean physical, mental and energy resources?

Mar 10, 2024 Sindrik8x · 358

@zeroceidyeah, sorry dude. As a MtG player that's where my mind goes dude. Lol!

FYI -

In 3p - 4p games, I have been adding in Mockingbird to go along with our stun, physical resource theme. She has been excellent, and I have found for minion heavy villains and/or modular sets, that getting another ally out is really good in multi-player. In solo, I feel we are fine tbh.

Just putting it out there in case anyone is testing her in multiplayer or two handed. And, yes, I don't cut personally, but if you chose to, I would think -1 Hit and Run or -1 Piercing Strike would be ok.
