Version 4

This deck is a honed version of my X-Men Assist deck.

I’m calling it Version 4 because X-Men Assist was kind of a misnomer, anyway, and because that’s really how I would describe the feeling this deck gives you: being at Version 3 but having set up not only Maximum Efficiency but the Dive Bomb + Honed Technique combo, it’s like you’ve unlocked Version 4.

Thanks to journeyman for suggesting The Locust, she’s a perfect fit here. You can still sub her or another card out for Sunfire if you’re facing a villain with nasty attachments. If you’re facing steady / stalwart and you want to abandon the confuse strategy, sub out Psylocke and Professor X for Sunfire and Spider-Girl for cheap allies, or Nick Fury and War Machine for more Basic targets with resource.
