This deck is designed to counter Thanos. Get behind me can cancel a terrible treachery card and expert defense or a chump blocker can take the hit. There are a few ready up options also.
Thanos hit HARD so downtime will help Thor heal up in a single flip.
Try to get Asgard In play asap so you get the +1 hand size. Mulligan hard for that.

Dec 05, 2023I like you ideas! I had both of those cards in but pulled them in favor of other options. Return the favor is a guaranteed 5pt damage hit with almost no deck burn because almost all his cards are treachery. I’m not confident that Thor is actually a great guy to take against Thanos but we chose the matchup randomly. My friend is playing Valkyrie justice (leadership wasn’t a good matchup). We lost the first time so this is our second attempt deck build. |

so cool to see decks designed to defeat specific scenarios. tbh, i don't think we do it enough.
what do you think about Limitless Stamina or even Godlike Stamina for some extra healing? (also attacking too lol). i think i'd be worried about defending, being exhausted, and then needing to heal but i can't now cos i'm exhausted. in that situation, crew quarters might be better than Down Time as well
i know is very important for him, but i think Genius and Strength will do a bit more work overall than The Power of Protection. is only actually helpful for Lightning Strike
also, what's the plan with Return the Favor?
