The basis of this deck build has been how to address thwart and ensure schemes are adequately covered.

Apart from a large range of allies of varying cost (cheaper ones allow you to play them early on), I've chosen the approach to stun and gain toughs. Iron Fist , Perseverance, Never Back Down and Tackle all assist in promoting those status cards.

Bait and Switch is a good way to cheekily get 4 THWT .. the villain cant attack you, but after stun is removed you get to thwart. Bear in mind, however, that the villain will be active during the villain phase. Of course, in addition to this, the allies should help in mitigating threat.

I've found Starhawk amazing in that he can return to your board time and time again...as long as you have other allies or amped defense, then you can leave Starhawk to eat away at ATK and THWT...then return to your hand, ready to be brought out again...

Have only tested this on Taskmaster so far, but I think it's a good test run considering the minions and side schemes available...also the forced response in main scheme and Taskmaster ensures you keep things moving...!

Finally, I've added 3 x Desperate Defense and 2 x Never Back Down ...option would be to swap those quantities around...though it is handy to be able to ready, after defending...especially if you've built a decent Ant-Man engine like Army of Ants to keep utilising Ant-Man's arsenal in the next player phase!
