Phoenix + Wolverine = L.F.E.

Hello everyone.

This build is for all who love the Unleashed Side of Phoenix and the powerful cards she has.

The main concept of this build is to play 2 cost allies for defense, keep Wolverine by your side for piercing damage and deal extra damage with 2 cost aggression attack events. All above supported by Honed Technique and Boot Camp.

This build is tested in solo expert mode on many villains including Magneto.

HONED TECHNIQUE : Phoenix's wild resource and the X Jet can always trigger Honed Technique’s trait for extra damage on aggression events. The damage of the 2 cost aggression events rises to 5 for Psychic Assault, 5 for Clobber (can be played twice for 10 damage if 1st card), 5 for Piercing Strike.

MULIGGAN/ FIRST HAND : You are looking for Helicarrier, Boot Camp, The X-Jet, Low Cost Ally, Wolverine or Honed Technique.

DEFENSE/SURVIVAL : Low Cost Allies. Hulk is used only for defense, Professor X, Telepathic shield, Rise from the Ashes. Turn to alter ego if villain is confused with Psychic Assault.

SLAY THE BAD PHOENIX : If Dark Phoenix comes into play , you can fight her with Wolverine (piercing and 3 damage, 4 with Boot Camp) , 1 aggression card, 1 ally attack and your 3 damage.

DAMAGE : Honed Technique, Wolverine, 2 cost aggression cards , Telepathic Attack, Psychic Assault, 3 ATK Phoenix in Unleashed.

PSIONIC BOND WILD RESOURCE : Use Phoenix Firebird to take 2 more power counters after you are unleashed or use them to get unleashed faster. Cyclops can also help you on that.

THWART : Professor X, Telepathic Trickery, Stay in Restrained Form until you have upgrades and wolverine to deal damage. Have Fun
