This is an Ally focused deck.
Ally is IMHO the most powerful card type. Once you get a powerful one into table, if you manage to keep it in play, it gives you a reliable way of dealing with enemies and/or plans. There are lots of good allies in any of the 4 aspects, so, I think that this type of build is the better for Adam Warlock.
First of all. As we can play cards from all aspects, the combo of Agent Coulson and Rapid Response is an easy and reliable way to have a panic button to defend the villain. Also, Agent Coulson's 2 THW will always be useful. I don't like depending on it to block the villain, as it has a cost of two resources each round to play Rapid Response again.
That's why Pip the Troll, Martyr and Luke Cage will be our main defenders. In games with lots of minions, Martyr can get a Tough status every other round.
Rest of the allies just have good stats or abilities (Venom is probably going to be replaced by Spider-Man or Speed), while Hercules is there just to test how it works (initially it was She-Hulk).
Boot Camp is great with our allies. Special mection to Brawn and Martyr. Team Training and Med Team are there to keep them in table for longer, as Reinforced Suit is, Reinforced Suit was specially good when She-Hulk was in the deck.
All the spell cards are just nuts, they are incredibly good at their cost, specially the Summoning Spell. As all allies in our deck are expensive, playing any of them for just 2 resources will be a big deal. "Welcome Aboard" is also very useful for paying them.
First I tried a build foccused on the allies with Guardian trait, but I found this list to be more reliable and powerful. Sure there will be any more powerful decks with Adam Warlock, but with this I managed to beat Green Goblin in expert with Normal II and Expert II for the first time, with the added handicap of a 2nd round Shadow of the Past.
As always, I'd be glad to have some feedback, while Adam Warlock is not in my top #3 of funny heroes, it is close to be, maybe with some changes in the deck... it will be!
