Drax The Defender

This deck makes Drax so powerful. It's able to prevent so much damage, while still dealing it back hard. This deck is one of the best decks that I've seen that fills both the protector and damage carry roles. The main goal is to never flip to alter-ego form at all. In order to do this, you'll need Mantis and Med Teams to heal Drax. Make sure to use Med Team's healing only on Mantis, and Drax will never die. You also want to try to defend for every single villain attack if you're able to. This way, you will be gaining vengeance counters very quickly, and drawing more cards after you reach three vengeance counters. Preemptive Strike can be used to defend for another hero without exhausting yourself, and works really well with Shake it Off. When you have Energy Barriers out, I highly recommend that you save them for when your play Desperate Defense so that you guarantee that your hero stays ready. If you find yourself exhausted during the hero phase, don't be afraid to play "Fight Me, Coward!", unless you're certain you won't survive the attack. DWI Theet Mastery is another essential card, and it allows you draw so many cards when it is paired with Leading Blow. C.I.T.T is great for when you have extra card in your hand, and if DWI Theet Mastery is out, it will be totally worth it. The Night Nurse is an excellent card for when your obligation comes out, and being able to instantly heal stun means that you won't even need to flip to alter-ego to remove the obligation from the game. I hope this deck works out for everyone else just as much as it has worked for me.
