Adam warlock has the most unique deckbuilding requirements in the game to date. His ability to take 1 copy of all the best cards in the game makes it so that you should lean towards cards you would run one copy of anyways. Deck runs all of the mystic only 1 of cards, all of the stat booster cards, as well as an ally suite that focuses on strong etb effects. This is due to being able to loop agent Coulson and rapid response, as well as getting great value out of summoning spell and make the call.
basic cards: were running only 5 basic cards due to needing an even spread of the 4 aspects (5+5+5+5+5)=25. We could run a 6th basic or more but due to wanted to get out Adam warlocks upgrades as quickly as possibly this isn't efficient. So were taking the 3 staple resource cards as well as sorcerer supreme= card draw deft focus= resource efficiency.
Other cards of note.... -Boot camp for extra value out of attacking allies before they inevitably die and get recycled.
-under surveillance is the best solo card in the game so this is a must to alleviate thwart pressure to give you time to build up
- lie in wait is an extra option for agent Coulson to grab in case rapid response is already in play
-Clea lacks etb effects and seems to have counter synergy with make the call, but its nice to have a card that shuffles back into the deck for situations where you need more cards to mill from the mystic events. The deck also has a high cost curve on allies so a low cost option is good to have.
This deck should be able to defeat most villains on expert difficulty and has a toolbox capable of dealing with a variety of opponents. Nice option for those who want to play on high difficulties, but also don't like tailor building their decks to defeat certain villain's.
