Want to play with the Encounter Deck face up? (Solo)

If you're playing true solo, once you get this recurring Heimdall combo down, you'll be able to see your encounter deck cards every single turn. You need to get the timing down for when to kill off Heimdall in order to resurrect him with Rapid Responses. There's an algorithm that allows you to flip every turn and have him ATK with his two consequential damage while your in the hero phase to trigger the process. When done properly, this can be done infinitely.

Playing solo, you'll then get to see the top 3 cards in the deck, discarding one and keeping the other two. This means you get to choose your boost card and your face down encounter card of those three. You'll never get hit with an untimely Advance again. In fact, you want to see Advance so you can make it your boost card ;)

The trickiest part is when you deck out. Make sure you're paying close attention at the bottom of your deck because then for this turn, you'll want to put your encounter card (the extra one) before the boost card. The normal encounter card will be something you can't control, but Widow has treachery cancel anyways.

The hardest part is going to be to pay the cost for Heimdall. You'll likely need to be in Alter-Ego to pull it off unless you have the right hand. Yes it will cost you your whole turn, but trust me, it will be worth it. You'll get 6 ATK per turn plus get to see the encounter deck for the rest of the game.

Here's the algorithm you need:

Set Up

• Play Heimdall and look at encounter deck
• ATK 3 to get to 2 HP
• Flip to Alter-Ego (or remain)
• Use Safe House and Gauntlets to play Rapid Response if you don't have one down already.
• End Turn
• Villain Schemes and gets encounter card which you have arranged

Alter-Ego Form

• Use Safe House to put 2nd copy of Rapid Response in your hand
• Flip to Hero
• Use Basic Ability
• ATK 3 to finish off Heimdall
• Rapid Response triggers and Heimdall re-enters play with 3 HP
• Look at encounter deck
• Widowmaker triggers
• Synthsuit ready Widow
• Use Basic Ability again
• ATK 3 to get to 1 HP
• Play copy of Rapid Response in hand using Gauntlets
• End Turn
• Villain Attacks and gets encounter card which you have arranged

Hero Form

• Use Basic Ability (if you didn't defend)
• ATK 3 to finish off Heimdall
• Rapid Response triggers and Heimdall re-enters play with 3 HP
• Look at encounter deck
• Widowmaker triggers
• Synthsuit ready Widow
• Use Basic Ability again
• ATK 3 to get to 1 HP
• Flip to Alter Ego
• Use Safe House and Gauntlets to play Rapid Response
• End Turn

REPEAT
