Hands down the best Agression ally ever made. Despite getting an encounter card for playing him, you get an ally that hits for 3 and even thwarts for 2 at least 4 times before hes gone protecting your hero. 4 for 12 damage or 8 thwarts is bonkers good. Well worth taking that one encounter card if you ask me.

Definitely a very strong ally. I think brawn offers solid competition for best ally in the aspect though. Brawn will similarly get 4 activations but his will be to deal 4 damage and 4 thwart which is comparable, especially given he costs one fewer resource and doesn't deal an encounter card.

It depends on the hero you are playing. If I was playing a more aggressive hero like Hulk or Thor who can't thwart then I would pick Brawn. For other heroes, Sentry is usually the better choice in my opinion.

Sentry for Thor, for the chance of a minion from the encounter card.

Sentry is a card that has aged relatively well over the years. He generally becomes better as player count increases due to the fact that an extra encounter card is less likely to end the game with every player added. In multiplayer if your teammates have built around defeating side schemes/minions (Skilled Investigator, Overwatch, Even the Odds, Cable, Excess Damage/Minion Slaying Builds, etc) the extra encounter card can even work towards enabling their builds/combos. Not ideal for single player and requires some deck building and piloting considerations (allow some time for teammates to build out before playing in tougher scenarios).
