Synopsis:

  • This deck is a strong, thematic build that utilizes Alter-Ego G.I.R.L. Action to constantly recur both allies and events that then heal and ready those allies. You'll flip to alter-ego and choose what card you need for that moment to recur.

  • You'll use specific allies and events that all combo with each other and will all be able to be recurred using Wasp's alter-ego action.

Recursion:

Allies:

  • Giant-Man although not a is great in this deck, not to mention a great thematic addition. Hank Pym was actually the original Giant-Man! This ally is also quite effective in this deck in that you'll always be able to swing for 4-5 ATK. Late game this is an ideal target for Inspiring Presence and Reinforced Suit. (Check out the art on the suit!). Teamwork is another card that ensures your max attack by artificially increasing his health.

  • Goliath is another hero whose moniker was originally Hank Pym. You'll also get the most out of his ability with multiple attacks of 5-6 ATK with Inspiring Presence. Wait for the right time to use his action, he's actually an excellent thwarter, especially with Mighty Avengers down.

  • Power-Man is yet another recursion target that's also an ideal target for Inspiring Presence to get the most out of his action of increased ATK in a phase.

  • Black Panther is a recursion target that can also get you Inspiring Presence when you haven't yet drawn it or recurred it.

  • U.S. Agent actually is not a bad target for First Aid or Inspiring Presence when you have Mighty Avengers down. He'll usually be able to soak up at least one hit or two from the villain for you. Also, don't be afraid to experiment and sub a card for Ready for Action, which is a you'll be able to recur.

  • You'll be able to get multiple allies out with Stinger, Avengers Tower, and The Triskelion.

Events:

  • Inspiring Presence is the main ready/heal you're going to be recurring with Wasp's AE-action. Once you have an ally like Giant-Man, Goliath, or Power-Man down you'll have some great high-attack turns. Giant-Man is your best target, and essentially once you draw one of these, you know you're doing at least 10 damage that turn.

  • First Aid is a card you'll use if you just have been unlucky drawing into or recurring your Inspiring Presence on Giant-Man. I use Goliath to thwart early and he's also an excellent target. U.S. Agent can take multiple hits with this card as well. Don't forget you can use this in alter-ego form.

  • Ready for Action has been in this deck and I do really love it for this deck with it being a . Especially for U.S. Agent, so you keep blocking the villain. Feel free to sub a card and see how you like it.

Theme!:

  • In the spirit of Quantumania, I've tested this deck extensively, especially with Kang Expert and the MODOK modular with smooth sailing.

  • So much theme with Giant-Man, Goliath, Stinger, and Reinforced Suit!

I've had a ton of fun with this deck. I love once you're set up, you have a specific tactic in mind and a recursion mechanic I've always been fond of. You can essentially almost recur you're entire deck and pick the card you need for the right situation. Hope you have fun with this deck if you choose to give it a try!

Always a good day when a new @Brian-V decks drops. Did you just keep the extra Ant-Man and Wasp allies in the decks for the resource icon when playing together? Or would you swap for another ally of matching resource?

@Potatomash12 Ant-Man (Hank Pym) and Wasp (Janet Van Dyne) are not the same as the signature allies Ant-Man (Scott Lang) and Wasp (Nadia Van Dyne). They can be played alongside each other. Their subtitles differentiate them.

Another Wasp aficionado! I was recently playing a deck with Giant Man in it vs the Horror modular. The 0 consequential effect from the environment ends up being really good for him, and with some readies he can just mow minions down!

@Schmendrix Thanks for the clarification! I would not have caught that.

This is great, I always thought this site needed a "fellowships" section. It really seems like certain decks could be better when designed as a "team". Will be playing these tonight. Thanks.

You may want an Honorary Avenger for Wasp so that Mighty Avengers works whilst you are Nadia.

@Sluggie, if you are not staying in Alter-Ego for 2 turns in a row is it important for Mighty Avengers to work while in Nadia mode? Seems like you can use your ally actions before you switch in or after you switch out of AE to cover this.
